The quality of a Music Lesson is defined by the quality of presence between student and teacher. With me, students at the beginning of their artistic journey broaden their ability to express themselves with training in music listening and performance, and advanced students gain language and habits that enrich their artistic life through daily practice and weekly reflection.

One-to-one music training is a beautiful way to keep the philosophies that belong to classical education alive - which BTW walk hand-in-hand with progressive thinking! It’s all about learning how to read: how to find your next favorite piece, understanding the body of work it belongs to, and letting the meaning of the literature dance of the page by interpreting it as your own!

A Musical Community
I offer at holiday recitals, client appreciation events, and additional offerings like Cursive Club, Book Clubs, The Berkeley Street Bulletin, and performance masterclasses during the fall and spring semesters that enrich the artistic practice and give students opportunities to be seen and celebrated by their peers.

Choose a date and time that works for you - skills quickly regress without regularly study, so finding a time that works for you or your child on a weekly basis is a top priority!

My studio is right around the corner from New Roads School & Bluey’s’—Santa Monica!
I offer limited in-home sessions and after enrolling at the studio can let you know when a spot opens up!
